LED taillight ????

I'm a bit confused as to which LED Taillight to get. whats gonna get me the best bang for my buck? and do I need a load equlizer, or are they built in to some of the more expensive ones like the paneca.

Thanks
Scott

I have the smoked Panacea on mine. Works great. It was the easiest way for me to get rid of the stock rear turn signals.

You don't need an equalizer just for the rear brake light.
I am selling mine see http://www.jpcycles.com/catalog/2007...talog/0349.asp it's the deluxe model, smoked lens. part number 340-004

Do you just want a brake light or do you want to get rid of the stock signal lights too? If you just want a brake light you don't really need the panacea but that is probably the best one, arguably, out there. I have a Kuryakyn Deluxe smoked laydown LED and I like it. It was super easy to install and you don't need a separate load equalizer unless you are doing something LED with the turn signals. The Panaceas with the built in turn signals are coollooking and really help to slim down your rear end (on your bike) but, to be honest, I think you sacrifice a little safety in exchange. I have a friend with one on his lowrider. It looks great and is very visible at night but we rarely do a lot of riding at night. During the day, when I'm behind him, I have a tough time picking up on his signaling right away. He's gotten so conscious of it, he now uses hand signals as well - which is probably not a bad idea anyway.

Here's a pic of my deluxe light. I think they make one just like it without the chrome strip down the model (the non-deluxe model) if you prefer that look.
