Default Pics of RED powder coat. Super Glide Silver Engine now a plus for me!

Wow, I think this is the best money Ive spent on this bike since the forward controls. For $20.00 a piece on the battery and electrical cover it is the biggest bang for the buck ive gotten. Evenrode a little today. Yes,itwas a good day.

Before:

And then there was powder coating...

Looks real good, more like paint than powder.

Thanks Smiley and I agree, just that little bit of red made a big difference.

labfreak, from what I understand they give the part an electrical charge then spray a dry color based powder on it. Once its covered they then bake it at like 450 degrees. The powder "melts?" comes out looking like paint.

wkdavistx, I live in a small town and this company does a lot of commercial business that they mix with the few one offs like mine but I will agree it was a great price.

hk_shooter, thanks couldnt be happier with the job they did.

Looks nice. One of the reasons I bought a black FXDC is because the colored bikes still have black battery and electrical box covers and, to me, they stand out like a sore thumb. HD really out to color match those pieces IMO. Nice to know it can be done if needed though.
