I was wondering if I should wait until the dead of winter to buy new exhaust. Does most dealers offer sales during that time of the year because business slows down?

 

From what I've seen it really doesn't matter. I know I do the majority of my mods/upgrades in the winter since the bike will be off the road anyway. Bikes are definitey cheaper in the winter. I'd say just check online for a good deal or wait for your local store to have a sale.

 

Check E-bay - anytime of year.

If you can't wait and want to find a good deal, look elsewhere from dealers. However, sometimes you can come across some good deals at dealers but there is no real season for it. I keep all of the HD dealers websites in my favorites and check them now and then to see if they are advertising any specials. Found one a couple of years ago that was having a 25% off of EVERYTHING except the bikes themselves sale and picked up my pipes there. However, when all was said and done, I didn't save more than a few dollars over the everday price of other resources.
