Default D&D Fatcat - baffles

I got D&D Fatcat for my build here in classifieds. From what I've read so far, it seems like I'd need to swap baffle from louvered to perforated. (106 S&S, woods 555 cams, Level 2 heads)
Is my understanding correct? Does anyone have experience with different baffles on similar to mine configuration?

You'll want the wrapped perforated baffle and some ear plugs.

Its not that bad...TH is louder, so is a V&H Competition pipe.

But yeah, you will want the perforated baffle and I don't think D&D normally sells these outside of buying the system.

I had TH, was not that loud. Couldn't stand Royal T - it was short and just blowing my ears out.

The baffle can be purchased separately but is a pain in the *** to remove it’s not as easy as say a bassani baffle removal as you’ll destroy the baffle in the process of removing so you are forewarned. I think the louvered baffle sounds the best out of them as it’s not as tinny sounding

I guess I'll give it a try and will talk to my dyno guy for his opinion. Since it's used pipe it seems getting baffle might be a bit easier than from new one, but still "fun"..

You’ll definitely want the perforated warped baffle. That’s what I run and I was able to buy a replacement baffle for somewhere around 250. Haven’t replaced it yet though so I have no idea how difficult it is.
