Priest sounds about right given the lengths involved. Still think they'd work well for some S&M though!

You got me here Ron.

I'm gonna wait and see what you come up with.

Or, could you give a hint a day??

All the guesseseses so far have covered everything but the kitchen sink.

There arethree things that I should say here.

First, if you have an idea, try to work out all of the details in your head first, then see if it can be done and made to work.

Second, just because it has never been done before, does not mean that it can't be done.

Third, almost everything on a bike has been done before, in some form, we are just re-cycling some of those ideas.

However, I, personally, have never seen this done before, but I am sure that someone here has seen it before, because I can't hardly believe that it has not been tried before.

Having said all of that, I have a quiz for you guys.

Try to guess what I am making here. The answer will take about two weeks to show finished pictures.

I figured Mud could figure it out. he has the same twisted mind that I do.

First I started with 7 feet of 3/8 inch proof chain (4600lb. test). Then I cut it into 7 pieces (of certain size for the project).

Anybody want to guess. Answer (in pictures)in three days, but finish time is about two weeks off.

Oh, I set my Zippo lighter next to the chain to give you a relative size of the chain.

This is what I love about this site. all of you guys are as twisted as I am. I'm in good company here.

The answer is:

2 rider footpegs - extended 2"
2 passenger footpegs
Matching handlebars exact size and shape of my T-bars.

Disclaimer: Do not try this unless you are really confident in your electric welding ability. Loosing the handlebars while riding is a really BAD thing.

I brazed them together on the top sidejust to get the proper shape, and then ran 3 passes on the under side with my wire feed welder. When I get to that point, I will cut the last 7 inches off of my stock bars and weld it on the end of the chain. the grips and controls will cover 100% of the welded on piece making it look like the chain goes into the grips.

So far so good. I'll post pictures as I get farther along.

JEFX - what is the derringer? The handle/gripslook like a North American arms, but the cylinder and barrel is different. And the size is about the same.

Just Curious.

Priest - I will never get rid of my existing brake and shifter pegs. They are without question, the most time consuming things I have ever made at about16 to 18 hours each side, and on top of that, it expresses my opinion of cage drivers.
