I started shoping had 2 weeks ago, it was a hard decsion between the soft tail I liked 200 back tire but the white low rider kept catching my eye. since ive owed sportys for years i chose the dyna it just seemed to fit. we rode 280 miles today its nothig more than bad *** i love the 6 spd I eased it up to 3500 rpms for a second in 6th iwas doin 90 the only bitch was the back seat glad I dont sit there ha ha
Yeah, the Dyna is a good, all around bike. That's why most of the bikers I know who ride with the big clubs ride them. And those guys ride a LOT of miles!

I hear 'ya. They upped the bar on the bar on the '06's and pulled me in the showroom with a serious 35 anniversary jonesin'. I thought my next HD would be a 'king classic but unexpected detours are fun too.

I took my first long ride with a group yesterday. Had about 9-10 hours in the saddle. The stock seat is an excellent suprise and that 6 speed is awesome for the higher speed stuff. The overall experience with the '06 is certainly a notch or two above my other past Shovel and EVO Harleys. Future is looking bright for the Moco; moving forward without abandoning their past and heritage. Works for me.
Nice Superglide, fl_799! I like the way they used the original paint job. It's a good thing that they decided NOT to use the original rear fender, though. That was one UGLY fender!

Too Tall: You nailed that on the head. This summer down by the Lake of the Ozarks, the HA were on one of their summer runs. Out of 300 bikes 70% or more had to be riding Dynas mainly Super Glides or Super Sports all running Thunderheaders .

I really am glad that I picked a Dyna. It has been everything that I wanted in a scoot: in town prowling, semi-touring, and the occasional twisties.

I had to make the same choice, new dyna with 6 speed and cool fat forks, or new softtail with balanced engine and cool fat tire, final choice was the dyna because of black tins instead of softtail with silver....
