Dyna Wide or Softail Custom

I am a proud owner of a 2006 Dyna Wide Glide but have come across a great deal on a 2008 Softail Custom. I am hoping someone can give me some feedback on the handling and ride comparison of the two. I am especially interested in the difference in ride between the rubber mount and the ridged.

I personally think the ride is better on a Dyna, especially the longer runs.

Dynas vibrate, Softails don't. That's about it. Most Dynas will handle better, but the rake on a WG is about 1 or 2 degreesmore than a Custom.

My understanding is that you do indeed lose a little horsepower with the counter-balances motor on all the softails. I actually kinda dig the vibes of the dyna. Mostly at idle though. My bottom-line that sold me was that I liked the looks of the Dyna with shocks proudly displayed
