Default 08 Front brake line question

Hey Guys,
This may be a dumb question, but can I use an 06 Bob front brake line on my 08 SG? The lines look different, but I dont see why I couldnt. I swapped to mini apes and of course cables go with that, but I just noticed that the front bake lines are different. So if anyone out there has made this change, please let me know. Thanks in advance.

I believe the '08's are braided, so you may see some degradation in performance.

I have a 06 Brakeline on my 08 , and noticed no difference in performance. I plan on putting the 08 SB line on it once I have the cash as it looks better IMO,but no hurry .

The difference in brake lines is negligible under normal riding conditions.
The advantage the steel braided lines have is they wont expand under heavy braking.
If you plan on tossing it around like a rag doll, go with braided.
If you're cool, calm, and collected, dont sweat it.
Besides, the old lines are braided also. Just fabric instead of steel.

Good to know, I will get it put back together and get her out in the sun. What little there is in Nebraska right now. I swear this is the longest winter I have seen just because they know I want to ride.
