Trying to take the seat off my bike. Got the screw on the fender undone but can't figure out how to loosen the front! What's the secret?????

Hurry, I want to put on my new Lepera barebones and take it for a ride!!! LOL

If I weren't so busy this weekend I'd come over and help you!

After you remove the rear bolt, pick up on the back, push down where your butt goes, and slide it to the rear of the bike. It should come out fairly easily.
Good luck, let us know if you can't get it.

Take off the grab strap from the fender it makes it a lot easier to take off and especially to put back on and you wont need to worry about scraping the paint .

If your lucky just undo the nut on the fenderyou should not need to hold the underside.

All the way from Texas? What a guy!!!!

Got everything off, got the anchor bolt or whatever it's called (thingamajig?) moved from the back position to the front position on the fender (that was the real pain in the ***). Once I got that moved the rest was a piece of cake! It feels great!!!!! I feel much more down in the bike, a little more stretched out. It's like the difference between a western saddle and an english one. I can feel the "horse" underneath me more. Way cool! I likeeeeee!

Now for the rest of the mods...............

Remove passenger pegs
Move front signals from handlebars to forks
Paint
powder coat horn cover and rocker boxes in wrinkle black
Rear fender
side mount tag
SERT
upgrade to 103
heavy breather (not sure what style yet)

I should be done for a while once all that is done LOL
