I have the HD Essentials kit Windshield. Love it. No buffetting issues.
Other than for cleaning, it doesn't come off the bike.
We have had a Bug Bloom here in the last two weeks,
so far I've only had to clean my glasses once [8D]
but have todo the WS daily.[:'(]

I have a detachable HD windshield on my 08 FXDC... I get a lot of Buffetting at high speeds (70Mph +)
I found that my Sundowner seat didnt help and had to put back the original seat which sucks... Not too happy with the whole situation.

I sold my HD quick release windshield I had on my 07 SB.
The mounting hardware made the windshield itself sit so far
out in front of me, it provided little wind protection and looked
odd to me.

What Iâm looking for in a shield.
Easy on and off, however I seldom ride without it
