i would wrench and enjoy it on my rice grinders i never spent more than a few grand on em used,&nbsp\\; tonight i wanted to oil the throttle cables and wunt to take off the switch housing and the whole brake lever and resevoir fell off in my hands, but i kept my cool and lubed the throttle cables and put it all back together with my torqur&nbsp\\; wrench but still it makes me nervous working on an expesive machine but i'm compotent and i know what i'm doing also i hate paying the stealer a penny and i have the shop manual on p df

I'd be nervous (for my wallet) if I couldn't wrench my own bike. Dealer/Indy/Friends&nbsp\\;are always there if you get in over your head.

It doesnt bother my on most things but I do know my limits.

I service all my own stuff from my 4 wheeler to my F250 Power stroke.

 

Work on it once or twice and it's no big deal.&nbsp\\; I can't imagine letting someone else work on it now. &nbsp\\;

 

What makes me even more nervous is working on my house to fix things since the house cost about 100 times what the bike did. I am so nervous about it I just don't do it and go out and ride my bike instead. [8D]

I love working on the bike.&nbsp\\; Work on it even when it doesn't need it.

 

I won't let anyone else, especially the dealer, work on my bike. Plus I really like doing the work myself.
