Default Riding without belt guards

I'm thinking about removing those ugly-a** belt guards. Anybody ever have any problems doing that?

mine are gone... heard horror stories about issues but so far so good! (knock on wood).. sorry the bike is pretty dark does not really show

just increases your chances of getting a rock in there and puncturing your belt.&nbsp\\; I got a puncture a few weeks ago and I have the guard.

Kept the upper but the lower's gone,no problems.

no issues for me. show me one custom with a belt and a guard (Big Dog, OCC&nbsp\\;etc)

belt guards are lame, no need at all. i removed mine within hours of getting my bike, never had any issues.

I took my bottom off right away, no problem with 6500 miles.
