Default Foggy Speedo glass

I have gotten moisture under the speedo glass so it now looks foggy. Is there any way to remove the glass to clean the other side or is the whole unit sealed?

Couldn't you just use a blowdryer to evaporate it?

It is not still wet, it just isn't clean or clear like it should be. It's like double pane glass that gets moisture inside and once it dries the glass looks dirty or foggy.

Mine has gotten moisture under it so many times that now there are little spots under the glass that won't go away. I just live with it.

Same here. Mine looks perpetually fogged and dirty. Doesn't really bother me much.

Park it so the sun hits it .... likely for lots of hours.... there is an air hole in the back that will eventually see all the vapour exit.

That usually does it for me. My speedo only does it on cool foggy mornings.

I know what you mean... Mine does it from time to time, but i have noticed it seems to be "leaking" out on the lower end of the speedo when the bike on jiffy stand. Well there is a white-ish residue on my dash where i think it leaks down or out or something...

I have also heard of people getting warranty replacement speedos... Some dealers do and some dont...

common problem most all of us have now and then. some even go have the speedo replaced under warranty but are likely to continue to have the problem. nature of the beast. nothing can really be done about the spotting or blurring that is left behind, i've never had that. but the moisture itself will dry out when exposed to the sun for a while.
