turn signal question

Default turn signal question
at night with lights on the front turn signals are lit up but back turn signals are not but do work when turning on signal for left or right turn. should they be on like the front are. came down in years from a 09 nightster to 04 fatbob and i am very pleased with my decision. this thing rides like caddy.

No, they should be off. You can buy a running light kit that will have them on all the time but they must be red.

I changed my rear signal housings to accept dual filament bulbs like the front, and run red lenses. The module I have only combines the turn and brake lamps. I understand the newer version does both low voltage bypass for running light function and the turn/brake conversion.
