Whats the axle size for my 06 bob? Its 3/4", right?

I think it is 1". my 05 is 3/4"... the 08+ is 25mm 06-07 1" from what I can recall.

So, why is the side mount plate that I have so big? I ran a 3/4" axle hole on my last plate and it fit? So thats why I'm confused... the 1" plate that I have on there now doesn't fit snugg like the 3/4" did. There's a lot of movement.

the axle shaft is 1 inch, that goes through the rim and bearings, but it tapers at the end to a 3/4 inch for the nut. so if your side plate is the type that pinches between the swingarm and the axle nut then you will need the 3/4 inch hole. hope this makes sense. jackyl
