I just found a bad line in my tank...Hopefully it's the root of my cold start problems.

Take the dash off your tank underneith there's 12 torx bolts holding a plate to the tank. Remove those twelve bolts stand back and hit the run switch. If fuel blows in the tank you have a leak. My leak is right where the fuel hose rubs against the steel tube the fuel guage wires run through. The fuel line could be 1" shorter and still work and not rub on anything. I'm gonna order some of that gates fuel line tonight.

.
This is a old thread, but how many miles on your bike when this happened?
I had mine apart swapping to a different tank I had painted, no signs of rubbing on hoses. I was over 23k miles when I had it apart. I have read of others having the problem of pin holes and running issues but not a very large number having it happen.

I'm only at 12,200, But I think this problem started 1 or 2 thousand miles ago.
