Default This SHOULD be simple...

I've done lots of searching. Trouble is, the stupid thing looks for the individual words, and using quotes seems to have no effect...?

I'd like to do something really simple - buy a tach and put it on my 07 superglide. Ah, BUT... I can't find a side-by-side mounting bracket (it's the handlebar clamp, too). I talked to 1 guy and he made his. Wow - sems there would be a terrific market for that piece?

Would someone be so kind as to point me at a bracket?

thanks

google these part numbers...are you looking for a mounting bracket for a speedo and tach like these?

67089-95, 67036-83,

There is a Sportster dual gauge kit available from HD for ~$300 , pn 67182-04 that mounts to the handlebar clamp. I don't know about your 2007 SG, but this kit will fit my 2001 SG

I'm guessing they discontinued the kit for the FXD? I had that setup on my '05.

Did they discontinue the FXD? I guess my bike is 7 years old, and Harley loses interest... ?

I checked the sportster kit - doesn't look good - too many differences

The sportster bracket and tach work on the superglide I just did it

I don't have the pn off hand but it's the later tach in the book that you want

Edit: part number 67182-07 is the kit your after. Just splice the new harness with your stock plug and it'll work. The plug is different but the colors are the same. The serial data wire that runs your speedo is the same wire that runs the tach. Works flawlessly buddy

Sorry - I was in Maine, picking up a truck.

Thanks for the help

Did you take a hacksaw to the stock upper handlebar clamp to remove the single mounting ring for the speedo?

I ordered the tach kit.

I think I'm going to need another piece...

I'm going to need a "plain" top handlebar clamp - the one I have will not work.

I guess I'll look around in their parts catalog...

Here some more options

http://www.paughco.com/2008-catalog/...ge%20Tops.html

http://foghollow.com/E-Shop/index.ph...a422abae0ca5ed

Here is one with dual guage in wrinkle black on eBay for $30
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Harley-FXR-S...r#ht_678wt_922

And loads of Black riser clamps here.

Your indicator lights should mount right up in the dual gauge bracket above.
