Dynas have largest forks of any HD?

Are the 49 mm forks on the Dyna models the largest of all the Harley models?

What size forks do the FLs have? They look close to being the size of Dyna forks, but it's hard to tell with those covers.

I thought FL's had 54mm forks.

I saw a bike once with 72mm forks. Looked like feakin tree trunks.

I just looked at Progressive's web site and their replacement fork springs. The sizes they list for all Harley models are 39mm, 41mm, and 49mm. So based on that it looks like the FLs have 49mm forks also.

I think only 06 onwards Dynas and Vrods have 49mm forks. All other models are skinnier.

Yes, the Dynas went from 39mm to 49mm in 06 when the frame was redesigned.
