I like the look of those bars, but it looks like they come really close to scraping the tank with the cables. How tall are your risers? Been thinking of going to a setup like that, but don't want to get too short so the bars hit the tank.
Thanks.

yeah I also like the look and the comfort of these bars. The bars and the risers are Harley-Davidson parts.

Been set up like this for years probably 10.. And of course they're easily adjustable farther away if I wanted.

yes sir wouldn't want to do that, but, keep in mind my tank is lifted around 1 1/4 inch in the front.

Risers are 5 inches from the top of the triple clamp to the center of the bars.

I’ll be 37 this august. Bought a sportster as my first bike a little over 3 years ago. Turned around 6 months later and traded it in for my ‘17 LRS lol.

66 Years

66 years old, 55 years on two wheels. And now riding my first Harley: 02 Low Rider. Wish I had started with Harley instead of all those years with almost everything else. I love my bike.

I will be 70 in 4 weeks.
I ride a 2000 FXDX owned new since April 00. 50th birthday present from my wife. Lots of mods since then. Love this bike. It'll be my main squeeze till I die!
My first bike in 1969 was a 67 BSA Thunderbolt 650cc (single carb) ex Britsh police bike.

46 here...
nose broken 8 times, 504 stitches, arthritis and joint pain / muscle numbness. Had a stiff neck for a year (LOL).
Gave up drinking, haven't had a broken nose or stitches since. Now, the stupidity of youth is catching up to me.
Glad I made it this far.
Gotta stretch every day. Life is good !
2 hours in the saddle and my shoulder is screaming.
But man, I'll be riding as long as I can !
Good people to ride with, and warmth on my skin, breeze blowin' thru what's left of my hair...
Wide Glide is my ride, no windshield...
Maybe next, if ever - will be a Breakout !
I'm in no hurry to upgrade...
