35.00 is pretty standard around here, if you have spokes, be prepared to pony up for a tube and rim strip. H-D or the Indies don't want to use the old tube as they say it is a liability. BS in my opinion so make sure you buy a tube and strip when you buy the tire, H-D stealer wanted 40.00 for these plus the 35.00, crazy.

You could probably find an indy shop that would do it cheaper but I'm just guessin.

Not a bad price. I know that Shadetree Powersports does them for 25/wheel. Of course that does you no good if you are not close to Big Lake, MN or their Ohio shop.

Next time you go there, park in the back and sneak up on them............So they don't see you coming .

Actually, you probably would have spent about the same as buying online, plus shipping.....Mounting & balancing around here runs $30 to $35 with the wheels off the bike.

Honda dealer
tire 135.00
mount & balance 15.00
total 150.00

online
tire 109.00
shipping 10.00
mount & balance 30.00 to 35.00
total 149.00 to 154.00

Feel better

Around here they all want about $60-$65 to do the whole job. They charge a mininum of 1 hour labor for whatever they do so I just let them do it all.

$35 per wheel is normal, $70 if you have them take it off the bike. I did my own when I had the stock rims, but now I'm not taking a chance!
