I've been using a G2 1/4 turn tube on my 2000 for about a year. Here's a quick review:
Pros:
-Much easier to grab wide-open throttle when desired, or anything close to it
-Much less repositioning of your hand as you're moving up through the gears
-Much easier to blip the throttle for rev-matching while downshifting
-No "hair trigger" response at small partial throttle openings, which I had feared
-Overall very natural feeling
Cons:
-None really, except you can't use OEM-style grips that have integrated cable mounts. You need a set of slip-on grips designed for use with a separate throttle tube. Lots of people make them. I currently use Biltwells.
My experience is all with a carb, so I'm not sure if anything I said changes when paired with injection.
