Unhappy 09 street bob vibration

Hi all,

I hope you have an enjoyable and safe ride.

I have a vibration on my street bob espically when it is on the jack stand and the bar turned to the left. the right hand grip vibrate "I think upnormal" so that even the cables are loose and the front brake grip is loose also and I hear the sound like when shake coins in a cup. So how I can reduce this if it is normal??

Thanks

Sounds normal. Mine does that same. As long as it's smooths out on the highway, don't worry about it. Dyna's shake pretty good idle.

All the Dynas shake a lot at idle...make sure your switch housings are tight but that is normal. I get vibration in my pegs as well at different speeds. I have tried to tune it out with my SERT but can't get it all out.

Well if they are loose, you should be able to tell really easily. Grab the switch cover and see if you can make it move by hand (motor off). Make sure the grips don't rotate on the handlebars.

My right bar shakes approximately 1" when I'm idling, turned to the left and on my kickstand.

Yeah, mine shakes quite a bit at idle. I think it’s sorta cool though. I don’t notice any vibration at all while riding. It smoothes out nicely.
