New pics of son's bike...
My son went down to the Harley shop to check out his bike after having some work done over the winter. He hated the Buckhorns and the stock A/C, and the original primary had acid damage due to a leaking battery.
Here are some pics of his new bars, A/C, and primary. He's got the bug real bad and it's killing him that I told him he can't ride until I get home next month...LOL I think it looks bad ass! Cool. Not bad at all for a first bike! The bars and A/C cover are a big improvement.

He took and passed the Rider Safety Course with no problems and told me that he feels much more confident after taking the course, but as a concerned dad, I'll feel better having him ride with me until he gets comfortable again. This bike is a 93' and only had 438 miles on it when I bought it for him last year. He put about 1,000 on it in two months. All totaled, we probably only have about $6,000 into it. Not bad for a first bike. |
wow, 93 and 438 miles explaines why its in such great shape. i bet u gota pretty excited to hop on urself

Gosh that is envious for me ! I pray in a few years me and my son can ride together. That has to make you feel like a million bucks ! Please enjoy it, I know I would.

I don't blame you one bit. The more mentoring he has the better off he will be in the future. You will be there to stop him from forming bad habits. I'd do the same if it were my son.
P.S. Great deal on the bike!!

Oh yeah, he's waiting...LOL Actually, there's still too much sand on the roads and since he's only got two months riding experience from back in Oct and Nov when I was home last, I'd feel much better if he waited until I got home so he can get used to it again.
