i agree with what "adrianvall" wrote above, i also didn't use the kit and dressed the wiring = no problem, but after an accident my original straps were damaged so i replaced them with the ones from the kit.

Here's some photos and info on the screamin eagle 180 kit, tends to look bigger with a chopped fender.

43197-04A is the correct # (wide tire only) for the 06 and later 17" x 4.5" rear rim.

Sorry, duplicate info. I posted without reading.

Thanks! The other product ID I posted is for the OEM 160 tire. Just searched it on the HD site.
Thanks again.

Is it a straight fit.Anyone in the UK Know where you can get a 180 rear.Cant find one anywhere.

I fitted an Avon Storm ST 180/55/17 cost me £100 from M&P and improves the handling no end.

Swap the 160 for a 180

I found the Latus web site to be the cheapest after hours of internet searching. Is there a DIY link to replace the rear tire? A buddy of mine down the steet has done it before but I like to read up before I start projects.

As far as I know, Dunlop is the only manufacture that is making a 180 tire for Harley Davidson. It is specifically made for the narrower original rim (4.50"). All the other manufactures that make the 180 are for wider rims.

The jury is still out on this one, but I bought the front and rear and intend to install them in the next couple of weeks, still gotta burn off some tread on the dunflops . I'll bust of the rear first and compare the beads and such, we'll see and I am hoping! Tire looks killer.

News to me, as far as I know "now" there are two 180 tires that will fit the original 4.5" wide rim. I did a Google search on Dragon after your post, came up with Pirelli Night Dragon that was released earlier this year, apparently the latest and greatest. Looks like it will be a really good tire according to the good reviews that its getting, check out the below link.

Pirelli Night Dragon Tire Review:
http://www.motorcycle.com/products/p...iew-76648.html

Description:
Brand new from Pirelli comes the Night Dragon, the first pavement peeling muscle tire dedicated to V-Twin cruisers, customs and choppers. Driven by racing technology, the Night Dragon is aggressively designed for PERFORMANCE and styled for stance; the Night Dragon intimidates when prowling or parked. The Night Dragon is a unique, premium product oriented to Harley- Davidson® and metric-cruiser riders demanding grip performance with forceful style. Today's custom cruisers and hot-rodded V-twins with increased engine sizes, more torque, more horsepower, and upgraded suspensions, create a combination demanding tires dedicated to driving that performance to the pavement of America's highways. The Night Dragon's street-wise tread pattern blends biker style with riding performance by maximizing the contact patch for fast warm up, quickly giving the rider confidence of stability and traction. The hydrodynamics of its groove placement ensures efficient draining in wet riding conditions; the Night Dragon's front tread design cuts a path through water for the rear, and the calibrated grooves of rear tire disperse the residual water, for controlled grip in all conditions.
