My bike has V&H Big Radius pipes and forward controls when I bought it. Still considering mid controls, but wonder if that works, or works well, with these pipes. Anyone use the combo of Big Radius with mids?

I had the big radius before and i have always had the mids. The bike handles much
better with mids. I recommend going with the mids, you will be fine with those pipes.

I currently have fowards on my bike but was think about putting the mids back on but just for the pegs as a second place to put my feet. can the mids still fold up and out of my way when i'm not using them?

 

I bought the nuts, bolts, and springs yesterday so I guess I'll have to find out the hard way by reinstalling them. Hopefully before I leave for Maine on Wednesday. I would be nice to have another place to put my feet for the 260 mile ride.

 

should be no problem. my 07 streetbob came with mids and big radius...I swapped them out for forwards though...

 

So I went and began to install my mid controls today. No luck for what I was trying to achieve. The use of midcontrols would work but the route the exhaust takes does not allow for the pegs to fold up and out of the way like i wanted. The pegs folded up 90% but the rubber touched and kept it from going all the way. I took them off for fear of the rubber melting.
