Question Brake pedal sticking

My rear brake pedal is sticking wondering if anyone has had this problem before and what have you done to fix it?

Spray some lubricant on the foot brake where it mounts

The pedal on my Deuce stuck like that. I discovered that it had been assembled wrong and had no lube on it. There is an o-ring in there and a plastic bushing on the stub the pedal is mounted on. Water got in and rusted it, making the bushing/pedal tight and stick. I had a hard time getting the pedal off, replaced all the soft/hardware with new stuff from the dealer, lubed it with marine grade grease and it has been fine since (2008).

Ok I sprayed the pedal with Wd40 and it's still sticking. Any other suggestions?

un-hook the linkage to confirm its the pedal and not the linkage binding or the master cylinder sticking
