New today, the Screamin' Eagle Heavy Breather, and the map download. Quite happy so far: a little more snarl to the sound, a tiny boost in throttle response.

Looks good! I've had mine for about 2yrs and really like it, but it's starting to be really common! I started to look into some velocity stacks just to be a little different.

Will the heavy breather fit on a 2006 Superglide or are they for 2007 and up ? If so, would I have to do anything besides install it and maybe adjust map on the fuel tuner ?

As my kids would say "that looks SICK!!" If you don't mind me asking what did that set you back?

300 for the complete unit. About 300 for the installation and the download for the computere etc. Not cheap, but I wanted to spoil the bike.

Red Devil,

Yes, the dealer I frequent has been selling a lot of them according to the service technician.

I know it's not unique the way it was even a year ago, but ever since I saw one on the Fat Bob CVO of last year. . . I've thought of adding it to mine. Now it's on. Time for another ride!

John,
According to other threads here it will fit your Glide. . . but in the catalog, for the purposes of the MoCo covering themselves, it says it's "just for racing use."

They do have them for '06. It is a pretty easy install and should only take 15-20 minutes. Adjust the map and your good to go.

Did the little rain sock type cover come with,or did you have to buy one? I have the same type of filter on myAN/BS and I'm still washing and oiling it each time I get stuck in the rain! I guess it's time to break down and buy 1!

Rain sock came with mine.
