Default Wire routing for rear turn signals?

I'm adding a Dyna license plate bracket with integrated turn signals on my old Sporty, but I'm not sure where to run the wires. Where did the factory run them?

Along the underside of the fender, usually clipped in to the side.

Mine has a plate bolted on both sides of the inner fender where the wires tuck behind, then through a hole in the front of the fender into the battery box. There's also a few wire keepers toward the front.

How do they get into the underside of the fender? Around the sides or is there an additional hole that I don't have?

There is a dime sized hole (big enough to fit a plug) in the front of the fender right behind the battery box.

But how do the wires get from the lamp pods themselves to under the fender? I know the wires come out of the mounting tubes to the left and right of the mounting bracket.

The wires come out of the light about an inch back (or front of) the bolt hole, correct? Your fender should have corresponding holes.

Crap...now that I think of it, look up the install instructions. I recall having to reconfigure the wiring in the lights from one hole to the other. I had to return them back to stock when I switched to a Great Bike Gear plate. Might give you some options.

See, I don't have a hole. I have the three bolt holes for the plate bracket, and of course the taillight assembly, and that's it. I guess I'm going to have to drill another hole into the fender.
