Just installed these a week or so ago. Turned out to be a PITA because I followed the instructions, and ran the gage cup screws down "secure". They should only be ran down flush with the recess. As a result, the gage wouldn't click into position. After sorting out that mess, plugged it in and got it seated back under the tank. And wouldn't you know that I pulled one of the wires from the connector. Undid that, seated the wire back in the connector, checked that it was working, and rerouted under the tank. Fired up the bike and it was reading no gas (had half a tank). Needless to say, I was quite frustrated. But unhooked it and cleaned the contacts. Which seems to have done the job.

Ive got the chrome ones on my 2012 Superglide. Love 'em. The trick to remember is when filling the tank, not to let the fuel dispensing spout rest against the outside chrome (or black) ring. over time or on hot days the glue on them will 'move' as a result the 'pushdown and turn' cap fails to seat correctly and can cause leakage or vaporing from the fuel system. BTW, Thats a 2012 Wideglide dash and a 4" HD digital gauge mounted on my FXDC. Had mine on for over a year with no problems.
