You'll hear a lot of people that have had their LEDs die on them on the fuel gauge. I've had mine on for almost a year, and they work perfectly.

I love the looks of them,but have also heard they are un-reliable, leaking gas and led's burning out are the main complaints. 200+ for a set------> not for me! Hell it's 300 here in the great white north.

On mine since new a year ago. The first set were changed out under warranty at just under 5000 miles and a couple of months usage, all weather. The second set I'm on now have been operating flawlessly now for an additional 10,000+ miles and riding rain or shine.

Do they make these for an '08 Fatbob in gloss black? What's the part number? I was looking in the 2010 catalog and it looks like they only offer chrome for the '08 FXDF. Is this something you can install yourself?
