Exclamation Brake Line Stock Length ?

I going to have to change my break line coming from the reservoir to a shorter length because i have a kink in the rubber hose area because of the new risers, etc , does anybody know the stock length i have on now ? is there something i can do to elimate the metal tubing after the rubber hose leading to the underneath the tree , i guess a braided line from the reservoir direct to the tree area ? is it possible ? i don't want to mess my brake pressure up , any suggestions ? links to braided lines, How to photo's ?

Thanks , Wonka

Looks like stock is 48"

I went with the 1 piece line to get rid of the rubber/metal/rubber conections.
I ordered all of my cables/lines from the above link.

I think 40" should do the trick. I use goodridge lines. The black series is braided and then covered with black coating. Looks stock, you can not see the braiding in the line. Inexpensive too. BTW the riser and bar combo looks killer. I keep thinking about putting my bars I have like yours on my risers.
