Tree's / Degree Question

Here a question for all you front end experts , i was on line at one of the sites looking to buy Chrome triple tree's for my 06 SB , well i found one that says for 49 mm which i know i need than it says avaliable 0-3 degree's , what does that mean ? i just want the stock replacement in chrome i don't want to change any dimensions , what is degree , what is rake ? and what is trail ? Any suggestions on where to buy nice chrome ones ?

Thanks, Wonka ! :icon_dance-tap:

Sounds like you want 0 degree.

I found a really good site awhile back that discussed this with a good balance of technical and non-technical descriptions. Unfortunately I can't seem to find it now, so this might make your head hurt...

Stay away from CASS COUNTY CHOPPERS!!!! The problem is finding a set of 49mm trees in chrome at an affordable price. You can buy 39 and 41mm all day long real cheap.

The 0 degree trees will give you a stock appearance and ride. The 3 degree will set the front wheel will out just a couple on inches farther which is not really noticable at first glance nor while riding, but it does look better overall. Just my opinion.

Where did you find them?

3° are a sure decision, 5° or 6° are hazardous...:icon_idea:
