are the stock rocker covers polished aluminum or chrome?

 

Mine are polished. Poorly.

 

They are polished, and as Dub's said, poorly. One of the best mods I think you can make to a FB is to install black powder coated upper and lower boxes and while your in there, chrome lifter block covers. Here is a pix of mine I just completed. Simple process if you have a service manual and take your time....Rich

 

Wow....I think you got a great scheme going there....vivid black with flat black pipes is awesome. Great contrasts and not overdone. Are you going to get chrome lifter covers?

 

They are chrome. Just hard to tell in that shot.
Bike is back on the lift right now. I'm doing the following mods. Progressive shocks, Black Powder coated detachable windshield, vivid black battery/elect boxes and FL style floorboards. Will post pix's when it's done.
How about you. do you have a Fta Bob? what do you have planned for it?

Not to change the subject but... Damn fine bike Puttnutt24, did you have to do anything special to fit those tires on and what seat is that? C & C? If so, how do you like it?
