I'd like to be able to remove the rear footpegs and mounts from the swingarm when riding solo. I know there only two bolts but it seems like there would be some alternatives. I did some searching online and couldn't find any options. Anyone every heard of or saw a quick realease type of footpeg mount made for the Harley Dyna?

Why do you want to remove them? Why not just fold them up so they're out of the way?

Sometimes when I'm riding I'll reach back and fold them down and give myself another foot position.

 

You could try finding some QD pins of the right diameter and length, other than that, nothing that I know of.

 

I'm not just talking about the peg itself, I'm talking about the whole mount that attaches to the swingarm. I'm just a little nutty sometimes and I was looking at that big long black bracket and wondering if there were any cool alternatives. I know, I know... quit worrying about those and move onto other mods...

 

just put them on with small padlocks lol... or use a bolt with a hole drilled in it with a lock pin of your choice

 

It doesn't take that long to bolt/unbolt them. Just do that.
