LST, I havnt rode the bike with them on yet, it was the beginning of my winter mods. I love how they look and feel though.

Ive got an 07 Superglide and it took 08 Street bob cables (which i had a hell of a time getting right since the harley tech decided to order the wrong cables 3 times). After i got the right cables it wasnt difficult though. Take the tank off to get to the Throttle/idle cables, theres enough slack in the hand control lines to run mini apes (6" rise from stock bars i believe) so theres no need to splice/lengthen them.

Put the new clutch line on and the new front brake line and your good to go. Clutch was pretty simple, youll need a clutch cover gasket and o-ring if the gasket tears. Brake is very simple. Took a little tinkering to get the throttle and idle in the grip but nothing to demanding.

Here is my contribution to your fat bob ape hanger thread. :icon_beerchug:

I, personally, thought these look excellent on the fat bob:

I think what makes these bars work nicely with the fat bob is the 1.5 " thickness and the straight angles. It flows with the fat forks and angles of the bike if you know what I mean. Also, you want to make sure the bars flow with the forks from a verticle standpoint (same width) since the forks and bars are exposed.

These bars are identical to mine and pictured on a softail but I think a fat bob could also pull them off. Check em out:
