Mount on frame at bottom/front of bike. And don't use those crappy straps that Fox Creek Leather gives you to hold the tool bag to the frame. It will come loose in no time flat. Use 14", heavy duty, cable ties - use 2 per side - they will hold the bag tight forever. I have the Fox Creek tool bag, and the bag is fine but the straps are total crap. I told them about it last year, but they didn't really care.

I have a inspection sticker plate mounted at the bottom of the frame tube,(the ones they sell at the stealer) can I still put the bag here with the plate where it is? Rdondes,do you have the buckles on your bag,or the safety snap?

frame mount with zipties. If the inspection plate needs to be easily visible, you may want to move it. Also will need to move if it gets in the way of the bag of course. One thing about mounting on the frame with zipties, the ties will rub the shine off the frame powdercoat. be sure to wax the frame there before mounting. Another option is to install on the swingarm on the pulley side as well.

I like the looks of it on the frame, but I would think that all the crap off the front tire from the road would make short work of the bag and it's contents. I'm going to try and see if I can fit mine behind my fairing.
