I'm partial to the Hacker. They give a 20% discount to military also!

Well, I'm partial to the Bubs Lakester 2:1 but of the pipes in your three attachments, I like the first one (the shorter pipe).

I personally really think the Vance and Hines 2-1 competition looks great on a bobber style bike!

The LSR is a very good pipe for sure, looks, sound & performance, but I heard they have some ground clearance issue, thats why they offered the option of positioning the muffler upright. Maybe some feedback from actual owners regarding this?

Rebel,
I too am looking at the LSR 2-1, only I'm leaning toward the slash cut vice the turn out version. Thinking of it in SS Titanium Ceramic. I'd say you've found a good exhaust system. Go for it!

Default How loud?

Those look like nice pipes. Wonder how loud they are? Did I see on the website it has no baffles?

Default What happened? I have similar ambitions/confusion!

This thread suddenly died. I was so psyched when I read it. I am in the same situation thinking the same thing (although I have a Sportster 48). So what did the original poster end up buying?

Anyone have any additional experience with these pipes? Or any thoughts on the ones I am considering for my 48? I am not concerned with high end torque or top speed as I don't spend much time using it. I just want something that looks good, is comfortable (won't melt my legs or deafen me), has a nice deep growl, and has some giddy-up when I am tooling around. Any and all thoughts are welcome.

I am personally debating between:
