Default Street Bob tail light

I'm new to the forum and would really appreciate suggestions. The big ugly chrome tail light on my black denim Street Bob makes cringe.

I really liked the setup on my former Nightster with the turn signals doubling as the brake lights with the plate mounted on the swing arm. Does anyone know of anyone that offers a conversion kit etc...to do something like that or similar? I'm open to other suggestions too. Thanks!

Cycle Visions Eliminator plate. It has built in signals too. You can toss your stock signals. I can get you one if you like.

Default yes

Do a search on the forum they make a kit to use turns as runing lights, brake lights and turnsignals. Then get the license plate holder.

Um..... ur bob should have duel filament bulbs from the factory. You just need to remove that ugly light & fill the hole or chop your fender.

THIS:

PLUS:

With a little:

and finally some:

Will get you this:

But yes, you can just unplug that light, fill in the hole/chop fender and the sigs will remain as brake/turn from the factory. I plan to removed my painted and cut tail light and chop the fender here in the next few weeks to clean up the rear even more. Good luck!

I thought they still had single element bulbs but came stock with the run/turn/brake module?

BBerck,
How did you eliminate the OEM tail light on your Super Glide?

If it is like my 09 SB then all you have to do is remove the taillight and chunk it. Your sigs will work as run/sig/brake. Because it came from the factory with the module already installed.

I put on a run/turn/brake module from biketronics then I had a body shop fill the taillight hole and paint the fender. I redid all the wiring in the back end to clean up the unneeded wires.
