Post 2.5" Tank Lift - Before & After Pics

I gain a wealth of knowledge from stuff other folks share here.. so just thought I'd do the same. If it helps somebody make up their mind, then it's worth the 30 seconds it takes me.

Some folks hate tank lifts.. to each his own. It was exactly what I was hoping for. I love the look/feel from the riding position - slightly more sloped tank.

Not the best pictures in the world.. truck in the way makes it a little tough to see. Installing new exhaust later this weekend and can post a better "after" picture then if anyone cares.

2.5" tank lift from DK Custom. Extremely fast shipping. Very pleased.

Looks good guy. I have a 2" on my SB. I love the look and the easier rocker polishing.

The raised front gives more of the old time chopper frame mounted tank look.

I for one like the look of the tank lifts. I think with the right seat (Lepera especially), it really changes the look and the lines flow well together. Your bike is looking sweet!

I think you nailed it! I couldn't figure why some tank lifts "worked" for me and some didn't.
Great looking 'Bob!

BTW, any problem with turn sigs hitting?

Mine don't hit at all... but I have rotated the handlebars up slightly from their factory position. I don't recall how much - it was back when I first go the bike. I haven't added different risers or anything like that though, so I think anyone with a factory setup could make it work.

I love the look of the tank lifts! I've got a 2" on mine that I've had for the last 3 years or so. Looks way better in my opinion!
