Versatility. From the interstate, to twisties, to dirt and gravel, the Dyna is HD's do-it-all bike.

I love mine for that same reason. But I hate cleaning after a road like that.
I appreciate softails for what they are, and the customization options (aftermarket parts), but I don't think I'll ever steer away from the dyna.

Dirt roads are cool, but like mikeault said, hat e to clean the bike after a trip down one of those!

I love the way my Dyna handles. I also like the forward control distance over the Softail. I kind of like the fact that you can't find as many bolt on custom parts for the Dyna, it is kind of inconvenient, but it makes you think outside of the box.

With the crazy chunky tread on a stock tired Fat Bob, well maintained gravel roads are a blast....but, yeah, the cleanup stinks.

Hey Centerline. Looking at your photos make me wonder. Is a Fat Bob a better handling bike than a Custom? This question is from a sportbike rider looking to make the switch to a Harley.

A custom what? Superglide? Softail?

I'd venture a guess that the FatBob is the best handling bike HD makes right now.

As far as cleaning, eh, I just leave it dirty a lot of the time. I always end up getting rained on anyway.
