Default Replace tail light on 09 Street Bob

Has anyone replaced the tail light on a Street Bob. I have an 09 and would like to replace the tail light with something better looking. Any ideas?

Thanks.

I replaced mine with a big empty hole in the fender that is covered with the license plate. My friend bent the plate to the same radius as the fender so it lays flat against the curve. The turn signals will still function as brake/ turn / run. Ill take a pic tomorrow and post it.

Ya I would just lose the taillight and just use the blinkers.

Get some high quality LED bulbs and they are bright.

Pic of mine with just the running lights on.

I didn't replace mine I just painted it. I don't want to move the license plate because I don't like the big gap between the tire and the fender.

Yes I'm hoping to find a cheap alternative to holes left in the fender after I remove the taillight and go with a side mount license plate.

is the BAL available for an 09 SB? I looked on their site but it was loading very slowly, didn't seem to have a light for the bob though (08 and older only?)
