Wally,
Thanks I checked out the pics. I have the stock seat but plan to get a Touring seat next summer, so in the meantime I think I'm going to go with the Medium Low.
If I get the bolt on bracket (not detachable) how hard is that to install? This is my first Harley and I have the service manual and really want to learn to get my hands dirty with this so I want to attempt to do some things myself.
I read a lot of people removing and splicing their turn signal wires, do you always have to do that or just in the case of installing the detachable bracket?

You should just mount that ford escort on there! No, but seriously, if you don't worry about your sissy bar hitting going under an overpass, its just not tall enough!

Wally,
Thanks... I plan to do the brackets, sissy bar, pad, luggage rack myself. I haven't ever done anything on a bike before so this is a learning experience but I'm pretty handy.
Where do I find that wrench?

The non detachable bracket install is not too bad at all. You just need an open ended crescent wrench (I can't remember the size) to fit between the tire and the fender to loosen the bolts. You don't have to modify the wires at all. The turn signal will just be dangling loose temporarily as you slide the bracket in.

2002 LowRider
The HD dealer told me that in order to get a sissy bar on my 2002 FXDL Dyna LowRider, I have to get a kit to move the turn signals back. Is this the only way to do it? I have a stock seat and just want to put a bar w/ pad on. I don't want to modify beyond that. Any one have close pics of the fender/turn signal area after installing the bar?
Thanks
