Default Battery removal on a 97 Wide Glide

Can't figure out how to pull the cover off to get battery out.

If your 97 is the same as my 95 this is how you remove the battery. First remove the seat. Disconnect the battery cables. Standing on the right side of the bike there should be two bolts on the left side of the battery tray that mount it to the frame. Remove those two bolts. Then on the back side of the battery (between the posts) there will be another bolt. Loosen that bolt, and it should lower the battery tray. Loosen it just enough to remove the chrome covers, then remove the battery from the tray.

Thanks very much, yes I could not figure out how to lower the Battery Tray, that bolt behind the battery is the key, thanks again...have a beer on me
