rear fender chop, smooth stretch tank, dakota speedo
3 Attachment(s)
Just finished wiring the turn signals to the swing arm, mounting the tank and the rear fender. Speedo was a snap. Done in time for the ROT!

lookin kool... nice job on your bike.

Looks slick. I'm in the midst of making similar changes to my 99 FXD - but I aim to get the speedo off the bars. With that tiny speedo I might not care as much though.
Is that an LED light bar on the fender or just a reflector? If a light bar can you share where you got it? I'd like to keep something dead center but don't want something atop the fender. TIA. Greg |
LED lightbar
Yes it is a led. I'll try to take a shot of it at night. It is brighter than stock. Here is the site:

Thats the best fender chop job I have seen so far how did you fasten the lights what did you use to cut it, gotta pattern I want to do that to my wifes bike

fender chop
I just eye-balled the fender chop. (Wish I'd left a little more curve along the rear fender.) Attached the flexible led with a weld from the cut inside the fender.
