Won't Start

Hi,
Need some help here.

My 2009 Super Glide won't start, the motor turns over no problem, pleanty of juice in the battery etc. Kill switch is in the run position no obvious leads pulled off. Can anyone come up with any reason why it won't fire up

Thanks

GB

It takes fire at the plugs, fuel at the injectors, air and compression. And timing. One is missing. Check for spark at plug first.

Have you just recently washed or had a ride in rain?

pull a plug and ground it on the jug and see if ya got spark... that would eliminate no spark problem.

does your lights dim when you try and start it? it may have juice, but not enough to turn it over fast enough to start.

i dont have secruity system on my bike, maybe there is an issue there???

I have just started having the same problem with my 2009 FXDC. It will start just fine but if I stop and have to restart it, it struggles to turn over.

same thing happened to me alone 600 miles from home a couple weeks ago. I would pull to get gas and it took 5 - 10 minutes of cranking and sweating before it would start. It got to where I rode the 400+ last miles without shutting down, pull in to station to fill up and hurry to get going before the heat killed the engine. I got home and put the multi-meter to it and had full charge on battery. I did a search here and some others are saying with a warm engine they had problems but a cold start it would fire right up, same like me, but never found an answer.

Well I hate that it is happening but at least now I know I'm not the only one having troubles.
