Thanks for the compliments guys. The easy part is over with which is all of the welding and trimming. The hard part and the part I always hate doing lays ahead and that is the prep work. I don't know why but I have always hated prepping for paint. Even with the three model A's I have built I didn't mind welding in all of the patch panels but I never looked forward to prepping for paint.

Great work ..... wish I was that talented!! My only concern would be whether the fender would drag if the shocks bottomed out ..... I'm guessing you've already calculated for that.

Got her in primer. I found a spot on the right side that needs a little trimming and I need to block sand a prime a couple of more times. Then seal the primer and lay down some color and a few coats of clear. I have decided on a Metallic Red w/ Metallic Silver scallops on the fender and tank.

Well, I finally got around to laying down the Silver Metallic base coat. Hopefully will get a chance tomorrow to tape it off and lay down the Red Metallic.

Thanks guys. I think I will get up early tomorrow and get back to work on it. My ride has been down to long. But then again I do live in Texas so the riding season is just about year round. Plus I still have the tank to do and send my console off to the chrome shop.

I'm really liking how shes coming around. But I like big fenders hanging off the back of Dyna's. Keep us posted.
