Default Vance & Hines side shots dyno numbers?

I've searched the forum for a good ten minutes and have not found anything conclusive the performance of the Side Shots on a 96 Twin Cam.

I found this thread on the sportster forum on the performance on a 1200cc sporty.

https://www.hdforums.com/forum/sport...n-results.html

The thread reports 79.87 HP and 78.57 Torque...

I have a stage one setup with a D&D fatcat dynoed at 75.39 hp and 88.08 torque.

I'd like to know what difference to expect with the side shots. I'm still a newbie but I do understand that 2-1 will create more torque.

But man... do side shots look sexy on a black dyna!

I'll let you know next week. I'm having side shots, a RSD air cleaner and a SERT installed and Dyno tuned.

I had the Sideshots w/BCT QQ's, the sound and performance was great. I switched to the Supermeg and lost a few ponies with 20 disc closed, I ended up getting the open cap and I feel a little more power in the bottom end now. The Sideshots are good pipes.

I had V&H slop ons with BCT thunder baffles, and then switched to the sideshots, it definitely lost some bottom end.

I now have the qq baffles in and its still not as good as the stock head pipes and slip ons/bct combo, but love the looks.

I know what you mean, I had the SEII slipons and when I switched to the sideshots i lost some on the bottom end (seat of the pants feel). But for me, the looks out way the couple of horses I lost.

I have V & H short shots on my 09 SB with a Stage 1 A/C, SE 204 cams, and a PC5. Right now my bike is running a little bit rich and needs to be retuned, but it is at 82.5 hp and 91 ft lbs of torque.

And here I thought that 2-1 were the end all of pipes. Those pipes are real impressive.

They look especially great on the 09 bobs, the gray motor and black pipe make a great contrast. Anyone who is still bath mouthing their 2009s better think twice!
