OK. So I turn on the ignition switch so the fuel light is still on, tank is half full, fuel gauge is flashing empty. I disconnect the fuel gauge connector and insert the Ohmmeter leads in the connector, black to black, red to red and tried the yellow. I did not get any reading at all on any setting.

Does this mean it's the sending unit? Other than the float being stuck of course.
