2006 Inner Primary Bearing Service Bulletin
 

Anybody have a copy of the Service Bulletin to replace the Inner Primary Bearing at no charge? I used to have it but lost it when I upgraded computers.

I'm the third subsequent owner of my '06 SB, does this only apply to the original owner or for the life of the bike regardless or ownership transfers?

Follows the bike, not just the original purchaser.

This service bulletin (Notice of Amendment to Owner's Manual" no longer applies. Attached is the new notice. Do a thorough search on this forum for Inner Primary Bearing and you'll find all the details on how to get this problem fixed.

Wow, don't have to do the tranny fluid until every 20k now... good to know!

I do not propose that the original service bulletin would suffice, especially since it was recinded but it can certainly be used to help (along with other tools) get some of the costs recovered. It shows evidence that the Moco recognized a problem. You don't solve it by writing another letter.

This is the same letter i got but it's bullshit because my IPB went after i got this letter !
