AN big sucker with a 1/8" stainless steel disc and 1 hole.
I know is an old post, but I have a question for everyone who use an AN exposed element.
Im trying to decide between de AN stage I or the SE Pro Air Cleaner. I like the AN back filter with built in breather but I hate the red element that shows in the catalog pages.
But in pictures like the ones in superglide I see that the element is almost black. Does the element get more black using it? Or is just dirt that gets out when cleaning it?
Is there any other reason I should choose the AN besides the SE 29543-99B?
The filter is for a 97 evo dyna with a mikuni easy kit.
Best regards.
For my recent build the tech did think the Ham can even with a K&N filter was gonna get enough air. Opted for a SE round A/C and backing plate, and a Round Chrome cover from HD's Retro/Vintage collection....goes with my tank badges and the rest of the bike.
